I am sorry to have to say goodbye to Attorney
MARIA LYNN COYLE, ESQ., who has resigned her associate position with my firm. She has opened her own solo practice, limited to family law issues. She has also become a family law mediator, having gone through extensive training, including a two week seminar. If you are a client who has worked with Maria in the past, I’m happy to tell you that you won’t have to look around for her nowadays, as she hasn’t actually moved at all – she’s still in her same room in my chambers. I look forward to cooperating with Maria closely, especially by taking advantage of her new mediation service.
I am happy to introduce my associate, SAMUEL A. LEVEN, ESQ. Sam grew up in Northern Virginia and attended the University of Virginia for both college and law school, where he served as a counsel defending students accused of violating the University’s Honor Code. Prior to joining the firm, Sam spent time in the Office of the Public Defender in Loudoun County where he represented indigent defendants facing jail time for misdemeanor charges. In his time at the firm, Sam has worked primarily on the family law side of the firm, though he has also done some landlord/tenant work and provided legal advice to University of Virginia students facing potential Honor charges. Sam is married and is a dog foster “parent” with the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Organization, as well as a clarinet player in the Main Street Community Band in the City of Fairfax.
