I am sorry to have to say goodbye to Attorney
MARIA LYNN COYLE, ESQ., who has resigned her associate position with my firm. She has opened her own solo practice, limited to family law issues. She has also become a family law mediator, having gone through extensive training, including a two week seminar. If you are a client who has worked with Maria in the past, I’m happy to tell you that you won’t have to look around for her nowadays, as she hasn’t actually moved at all – she’s still in her same room in my chambers. I look forward to cooperating with Maria closely, especially by taking advantage of her new mediation service.
I am happy to introduce my new associate, PETER R. ROANE, ESQ. Peter was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law, in Lexington, Virginia. He comes to the firm from Charlottesville, Virginia, where he previously worked in law publishing at LexisNexis and subsequently opened a family law practice. Peter is a member of the Virginia State Bar and its Family Law section. He is admitted to practice law in Virginia State and Federal courts. While in Charlottesville, he was a member of the local bar’s website and communications committee, past secretary of the local criminal bar association, and participated in efforts to establish a local arbitration program. He is an adult leader with the Boy Scouts and a volunteer for PACEM, an organization helping provide shelter to the homeless. He is married with three children.
